You're ready to get to the bottom line: How much will this cost? This page tells you. You may read the prices and experience sticker shock. Why does this cost so much?!?

Meant to Be tries to keep prices as reasonable as possible. As adoptive parents, we know that adoption involves a series of high expenditures. We charge for our time and for the materials we use. If you cannot afford the entire price of an item all once, we will work out a payment plan. If you are not completely satisfied with our work, we will work with you until you are, or we will refund our labor costs.

Meant to Be is the only provider of this wide array of adoption-scrapbooking related services. In fact, there are only six providers of adoption profile scrapbooks to be found on the Internet. Of these, only one offers both adoption profiles and lifebooks. You will find that Meant to Be is priced competitively. Frankly, we charge less than anyone else for full-service profile design.

Meant to Be can create scrapbooks the traditional way - using paper and physical embellishments. Or, we can create scrapbooks digitally - using the computer. More information about the two styles is available in our FAQ. Because traditional scrapbooking requires the use of consumable items (paper, stickers, pens, etc.) the cost of those items is figured into the price of the finished book.

All digital scrapbooks are put on a CD for you as part of the package. If you would like a traditional scrapbook to be scanned and put on a CD, there will be a charge for that service. You are given one physical (paper) copy of your digital scrapbook as part of our service. If you want more copies, there is a copying fee. If you wish, we can create multiple copies of your adoption profile and put the copies in presentation folders for you, for a small fee.


Adoption Profiles
The adoption profile service includes: initial consultation, guidance in selecting photos, review of "Dear Birthmother Letter" (if asked), scanning physical photos (if necessary), digital design and creation of the adoption profile, draft reviews for your approval, and completion of the profile when you are satisfied. You will receive one CD of your profile and one physical copy of your profile. 
For an extra fee: We can provide additional electronic or paper copies. We can also copy your profile and put the copies in presentation folders.
Note: Adoption profiles are created digitally (on computer) as opposed to traditionally (on paper), because the need to copy profiles is key. The digital format also allows for quicker turnaround time, inclusion of more photos, and an easier review process.

Lifebooks
The lifebook service includes: initial consultation, completion of a questionnaire to determine the content of the book, guidance in choosing pictures and memorabilia, journaling (if desired), scanning physical photos (if necessary), traditional or digital design and creation of the lifebook, draft reviews for your approval, and completion of the lifebook when you are satisfied. If you choose a traditional scrapbook, you will receive one physical copy of your lifebook. If you choose a digital scrapbook, you will receive one physical copy of your lifebook and one CD containing your lifebook.
For an extra fee: We can provide a traditional scrapbook on a CD. We can create multiple physical copies of traditional or digital scrapbooks.

Custom Storybooks
The custom storybook service includes: initial consultation, collaboration on the narrative, guidance choosing photos, scanning physical photos (if necessary), traditional or digital design and creation of the storybook, draft reviews for your approval, and completion of the custom storybook when you are satisfied.
